I just got a new Belkin F9K1001V4 router and have it hooked up to a dual-boot computer, Win7 / Linux Mint Maya. I set it up in Win7 because the installation disk was for Windows. I setup the password to access the router and can access it when in Windows through Firefox. When I boot to Mint and go to the router page, it will not accept my password. I’m using Firefox in Mint also. I tried a hard reset of the router back to factory settings while in Mint, but it still will not let me in. When I go back to Win7, I can get into the router settings, OK. ( Since I reset the router while in Mint, it lets me in with a blank password in Win7, then I can create a new one). I go back to Mint and it will not let me in. Since I use Mint 90% of the time, I’d like to be able to access the router. The router connects to the internet OK, so it’s working fine. Any suggestions?
